Jupiter in Cancer-June 2025 to June 2026
Wisdom that comes from a sense of emotional fulfilment.
Jupiter takes approximately 1 year to transit through a sign and Jupiter takes 12 years to transit through the entire zodiac. Jupiter is the planet of expansion and growth and is exalted in the sign of Cancer. Being exalted is the best place that a planet can be however it is important to note what aspects the planet is making as well as no planet is an island. The last time Jupiter was transiting through the sign of Cancer was between June 2013-July 2014. A good way to gain perspective on how the transit of Jupiter in Cancer will affect you personally is to reflect back on what happened in your life between June 2013-July 2014, where did you observe expansion and growth for better or for worse.
At the point in time, when all of the outer planets are in air or fire signs, I think it’s significant that the planet that is all about growth and wisdom, is saying that we need to begin this progressive time by starting from a vulnerable place. To me that relates to be mentored by someone, especially if you want to take your life path seriously. Within this article I will mainly be referring to the path of being an astrologer however I think what I mention below applies in many different fields.

Astrology is a very individualistic art. Sometimes one comes to the planets to try and understand why we differ from those within our realities and once we find out what makes us different we learn about others. However we cannot negate the fact that most of us could not have learned this art as well as we have if it wasn’t due to the teachings we gained from someone else. Whether it is through a book or a YouTube video, however there can still be some sort of detachment and more of a jump in the deep end and find out mentality when learning. There is something about being nurtured (Cancer) through the wisdom of a teacher (Jupiter) that allows you to not only grow but to grow in an environment where it is safe to learn from your mistakes.
It can feel very confusing in this day and age as there are many amazing astrologers to choose from however it should be noted that not every teacher is for you, not everybody’s teaching will resonate and it is important for you to know where you want to grow your craft. If you are interested in knowing the type of teacher that would resonate with you, look at your Mercury placement for some clues. As the South Node is in discerning Virgo it is important to be discriminating with the information that you decide to hold onto, learn what you can and are willing to digest during this time and what will lead you down a more confusing path.

When Jupiter enters Cancer, it will first square Saturn which will be in Aries on 15 June 2025. There is something to be said about controlled expansion and trying to expand our vision based off of where we think we should be leading ourselves however Jupiter will square Neptune in Aries on 19 June 2025 which is within the same week. I would say that it’s important to know where our boundaries begin and end however where we can grow really has no limits if our abilities are nurtured in the right way. It can be very easy to get lost when we are leading ourselves (Saturn in Aries conjunct Neptune in Aries) and that is why I am mentioning being mentored, the current planetary alignments are highlighting that in order for us to really progress in the right directions, it is ok to not move too fast and learn from the lessons of others.
Jupiter will also be trine Saturn when it makes its retrograde in Pisces, this will occur around September 2025; when Saturn is wrapping up the storyline of embracing the lack of boundaries of the unknown that it has been teaching us for the past 2 years in Pisces. To me this is indicating that the wisdom and insight we gained from the initial square between Jupiter and Saturn will result in a vision unknown by us completely because it cannot be built by us alone. Co-creation with the universe depends on us having faith not only that we can manifest what we want but trusting that the universe will support us through this process. And that sometimes looks like us being lead towards the right teachers.
