Mooned Out

Saturn returns to make good on his fullmoon opposition with Venus only on 1 February 2025, while Jupiter will return to this extremely challenging square on 9APR25 for consolidated solutions, we pray. When Saturn comes round early next year, Venus will be conjunct Neptune on the very last minute of the very last degree of the zodiac @29PISCES59’, the ultimate surrender.
Currently Venus is approaching her opposition to Neptune on 29AUG24 from 29VIRGO08’. She needs the most perfectly precise help to be able to relate in her detriment. Neptune fogs the path with Piscean purity myths, but no one is innocent in this reality. We have to imagine for our humanity more peace, more science, more heavenly spirit…
Mercury will be stationing direct @21LEO26’ also in late August, reminding us of Venus’ Inception @20LEO28’ (Venus Star Point/VSP) last year, 13AUG23. We are being asked to remember and embody ‘Her Cosmic Love’ through our heart-selves in our mammalian networks. How is She being received in your life?
Humans are a fickle, bifurcated multiplicity with shiny love-hate sprinkles, but on the inside, each earth heart beats together in rhyme and rhythm. Both very simple and very complex in the same symphonic moment, the music of our interbeing is unbelievably diverse and precious. Imagine hearing each creature and being’s life sounds and signalling.
As Neptune is preparing for his ingress into Aries next year, we are being alerted to a special ‘something’ involving Junos’ opposition to Neptune 8AUG24, when one’s agreements began to dissolve. Juno is the ‘Wifes’ contracts, agreements and commitments.
Juno is with the South Node @6LIBRA58’ later this month 30AUG24 and so is Black Moon Lillith @6LIBRA55’. Lillith and Juno have been having a conversation; first @2VIRGO08’ 22OCT23, then @15VIRGO56’ 23FEB24 and again coming up 29AUG24 @6LIBRA46’. They have been exploring ways of caring for the discarded and disregarded in ourselves and society-at-large. South Node is insisting we clean up past ways of relating and all the toxic ways we can relate to the past eg I can hate my stepmother for being English knowing what the English did during the Irish Famine and in the north, but then, when all the sins of apartheid are loaded onto me, I have to admit I had no say in a system I was born into and neither did she, especially as it’s almost 200 years later.
Lillith mirrors the deepest, most hidden parts of ourselves; aspects that are demonised or unlived that need release and appeasement for personal integration and psychological wholism. In Virgo Lillith is epic, fighting good over evil or mundane and everyday where perfectionism, overwork, over-extension and sickness lurk. In Libra, Lillith in her pre-gender andronymity that ultimately demands a ‘narcissitic-type’ of self-love, plays relationship games. We must remember that Narcisus is the child of violence and rape; like much that is birthed currently eg technology advancements fertilised in the war machine.
Juno is exposing Lillith’s hidden power and calling for alternative contracts. Juno cannot abide her husband’s hot airs (Jupiter in Gemini) after all her effort to clean-up and clarify during Virgo. Juno and Lillith’s coming meeting at 6LIBRA55’ is read by the Sabian Symbol for 7 Libra; all about guardianship. It reads, ’A Woman Feeding Chickens and Protecting them from the Hawks’, where Dane Rudhyar suggests in ‘An Astrological Mandala’, that we are helpless and frightened apprentices who must face the ‘powers of darkness’. He says, “the most basic law of our universe is that every release of new potentialities or modes of energy brings about a polarization of effects – that is, the new potentiality will be used both for construction and destruction. It will arouse individuals or groups or nations to take a series of steps which will lead some to greater success and others to deeper failure. Whoever makes possible this new release has to accept the karma of both the success and the failure. When Jesus showered his immense love upon lukewarm, self-centred individuals it inevitably came to be turned into violent hatred when these soul-minds were unable to cope with its frightening intensity. Jesus had to accept spiritual responsibility for those who crucified him.”
On the upcoming New Moon 3SEP24, Venus will be meeting the South Node @6LIBRA39’ and Lillith @7LIBRA26’ and then Juno for right relationship @9LIBRA26’ 6SEP24. Venus’ golden light is guiding us on during Her Remembering and Embodiment Phase, rising higher and brighter each evening. Mercury’s magic in you, will be reassembled and reawakened in the morning sky by then, with more understanding of water’s serpent heart, Alphard and Leo’s royal heart-star, Regulus.
One more goddess wants a say here and that is Ceres, Earth Mother and mother, as provider, nourishment and sustainability. Not a trending topic currently, Ceres has been retrograding in Capricorn from 21CAP32’ 16MAY24 and is stationing from 25AUG24 @7CAP29’, square the nodal axis. (Their precise square was 29MARCH24 from 15CAP36’.) 7CAP36’ marks Facies, one of the most violent stars in the sky and a place Mercury revealed to us during his retrograde at the end of last year. Ceres was last here 29FEB24. What was then forced and infertile, is now making more sense.
By birth my Capricorn Ceres is square the lunar nodes and I’ve always wondered how my vocation is expressed in this signature. Yes, I like to know how to do things and often I will do something for no particular reason other than to see if I can. I like the biology of everything and its co-existence – or not. Simplest is smartest.
But there is another level of experiencing Ceres in my life which relates to me as a mother. Deeply personal and painful and woven into the tale of my mother and her mother and my daughter, as her lunar nodes oppose mine precisely and her Christmas Day Sun conjuncts my Ceres; mother and daughter also in the sky 😉 When she couldn’t find her daughter Persephone, mother Ceres / Demeter mourned winter over the whole earth without seasons. Everything began to die, until the gods had to intervene to save Earth.
Daughter had discovered her own underworld. She had been abducted into Hades’ realm and become his wife. For some this is a violent psychological event that mother triggered, when actually Daughter’s self-discovery frees her from Mother’s underworld. Mother as a role, a reality and an archetype can be explored in you, when the celestial pathway of Ceres is honoured. Constellating asteroids Juno and Ceres, the anti-mother Black Moon Lillith, Venus as personal and cosmic boss and the lunar nodes speak soul in a voice far more nuanced than just Moon and Venus as representative of the feminine and yin.
