Watching the sky cycles of wandering and fixed stars in your life is an ancient Mesopotamian practice and a natural science still holding true, to grow yourself in unchartered times.
Currently we are brewing a ‘Mars – Pluto – Black Moon Lillith’ Grand Trine in AIR for the 21-24JULY full moon vortex that involves zero-Aquarius’ power switch/powers’ witch. Pluto will be midnight star (opposite the Sun 23JULY), its dark matter most potent for pulling the light in. During this upcoming final-degree, Capricorn full moon conjunct dark lord Pluto, we also have big-love Jupiter-Venus (yang sextile) and sacred-heart Vesta-Venus conjunct @15LEO11’ (close to our Current Cosmic Venus Star birthed @20LEO28’ in August 2023 ((mymom’s death/birth in heaven))).
We are being asked to go deeper, darker, wider and brighter than ever before, so as to include all the blindspots and scapegoats in our power struggles and relationship games. Gemini’s multiplicity draws every one and thing into common connection. Why Gemini? And why Gemini, great tricks, truth and lies?
In the morning sky, Mars is rapidly approaching his conjunction with King Jupiter 14AUG24 @16GEM40’ (last Mars-Jupiter conjunction 20MAY22 @3ARIES19’). Always a grand occasion, the royal event this time around makes a mutable grand cross square Saturn retrograde in Pisces @17PISCES48’ coming into opposition with Venus in Virgo square Moon in Sag.
16GEM is the heliocentric north node of Venus and SA’s 10MAY94 chart’s Venus is 17GEM11. The Moon / people / body will then be on the south node of Venus and Venus will be in Virgo in fall, indicating a lot of unhealthy threads need core change and alternative care/service. People who traditionally don’t connect with one another are tasked with formalising right relationship to create our true value as human beings.
Seeing SA’s Venus at the destiny and growth-marker of Venus as an electro-magnetic conduit for golden heart inphinity, inspires in me a deep gratitude for the lessons we get to learn in South Africa’s biodiverse wonderland; be they mostly painful/spiritual lessons of loss and ‘white-flag’ surrender.
As the consolidators Jupiter and Saturn are square with one another in mutable/ changeable signs, let’s track each of their journeys with Venus. Her sacred heart is currently rebirthing beautifull in the evening sky and will make the most precious asterism 5AUG24 with Mercury above heart-of-the-lion Regulus and Venus tightly wedded and the newest Moon below.
New Moon is the day before 4AUG24 with Sun in his royal rulership @12LEO34’, where lies the heliocentric (11LEO) north node of Neptune, the great Imaginarium and Key for sentient Redemption (……which is why my Mercury @11AQUARIUS exactly conjunct my DC is dedicated to working Neptune’s light and making my own winds with how the world can ‘sicken’ a Leo AC.)

Venus is exalted in Pisces remember, so Saturn’s schooling is exquisitely refined and tuned to those softer, more spiritual, forgiving feelings of faith. We have to be very careful with this ‘I see the divine in everything’ and glean discernment (Virgo) as much as possible, especially as Neptune (in Pisces) seeks to dissolve absolutely everything into oneness/noneness.
Next year’s Venus-Saturn conjunction will also be in Pisces (@16PIS05’), whereas 2023’s cycle was an Aquarian module and 2026 will be Arian – so please do set this clock and mark your moments.
Saturn-Venus in Pisces’ most gentle waters does provide inner knowing and hotline soul-connect, but it’s not easy in these changeable waters and times – and it’s never easy with lord-of-karma Saturn, who wants us to grow up, accept our defeats and know what’s real and what isn’t.

This point was ignited by Cancer’s new Moon 6JULY24 opposite Earthmother, Ceres (retrograde) and square the lunar nodes. Ceres returns into opposition with Sirius 17OCT24 when she will be square the personal pain of Moon-Chiron in Aries opposite Black-Moon-Lillith in Libra. BML and the south node meet 30AUG24 @6LIBRA55’ with Venus in rulership and Juno on either side. Wounded motherships return home and remember how to live earth-speed and fairness-for-all.
We have Mercury’s retrograde from His rulership and exaltation Virgo back into Leo to help us find the meaning of this cosmic conversation. We have to take special note of Mercury as ruler of Gemini, as the thought, the word, the ‘prophet’s inspiration’.
When we look at the meeting moments of our 2 inner planets, Mercury and Venus, we discover they have their own pattern for heart-mind self-intimacy and their own living alchemies that we get to experience as microcosm of the greater macrocosmic generosity.
