About the Speaker
Nāthan Theo Naicker, a COSAPA Specialist member, has a background as a petroleum engineer and has been practicing astrology professionally since 2014. He currently works as a Lead Implementation Manager in integrating AI technologies in the global financial regulatory industry.
He learnt western psychological astrology in 2010, and then learnt traditional western astrology, qualifying with the Diploma in Medieval Astrology (2012, Zoller) and a Diploma in Astrological Studies (2014, Suskin). He completed the STA Horary Astrology Practitioner’s course in 2016, and various other masterclasses over the years covering natal, mundane, and other specialist topics.
After seven years of intensive studies in India, he qualified as a Certified Paṇḍita Jyotiṣa (2023) from the Acyutānanda Paraṁpara of traditional teachings in Vedic Astrology taught by Pandit Sanjay Rath.
He served as SA representative for OPA 2018-2023. He served as CAA secretary 2014-2015, and assisted CAA leadership 2021-2023. From 2020-2023, he was a Copy Editor for the Jyotish Digest magazine, circulated by Sagittarius Publications of the Devaguru Bṛhaspati Center in India. From 2021-2023, Nathan was an assistant teacher in Vedic Astrology for Devaguru Brihaspati Centre (India) helping over 150 students from around the world.
Nāthan runs retreats in South Africa, and hosts webinars, workshops, and private courses online. He performs Rectification for clients and other astrologers around the world. Nathan practices and teaches both traditional Western Astrology and traditional Vedic Astrology in his work, as complementary systems and perspectives on life.
